About Bonmahon Joinery
Mr. John Roche, a qualified carpenter began manufacturing timber windows and doors and formed Bonmahon Joinery & uPVC Ltd. in 1973. The company began as a small business but through quality workmanship and local support, the company grew. It soon became apparent that the original premises were too small, and in 1979 the first purpose built factory was built. This brought the opportunity to manufacture more, employ more and increase our commitment to the customer.
With people’s requirements changing and new materials being introduced into the market, we decided to expand into the PVCu and aluminium areas. It was always our policy to manufacture all products here in Bonmahon so over the years, there has been huge investment in the most up-to-date computerised machinery and qualified personnel.
Today, the factory area has tripled in size to accommodate the joinery section, which specialises in timber windows, doors, screens, and fire doors and screens and the PVCu section, that produces a comprehensive range of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and screens for both the domestic and commercial sectors. Despite this size, we feel that we have held onto the small business values, which were at the very heart of our company’s foundation.
